The Pet Day

Every year we have a Pet Day

And I brought my fluffy dog to school and its name is Oreo.
Yesterday my dog came 1st and Oreo got a ribbon.
I think Oreo won just by cuteness and fluffiness.
I enjoyed playing with my dog at the pets day in the hall.
And once I had to drag the dog because it was so scared.                                                                       
I was most proud of my Oreo for winning and I just love Oreo.

My Colourful Bird

So we drew a bird then we cut a paper and stuck in all over the bird.
We made it because Miss Evans told us.
We made it at the start of term two.
The most hard thing was gluing so many little papers.
I was successful because I never gave up.

Science Together

Today in Learning Together we did some science experiments.

My favourite thing was making natural plastic.

To make plastic you can use vinegar and hot milk.
The scientific name for plastic is polymer.
You can make cheese with the same recipe. The vinegar caused a chemical
reaction what made the milk curdle 
You have to wait like 7 days till it turns to plastic.
I tried to m make a plastic ball.

This is how you make it.
1. Heat up the milk.
2. Get a cup of milk
3.  Pour 1 table spoon of white vinegar.
4. Stir for 5-10 minutes.
5. Put all the milk in a bowl but pour through a sieve.
6. Mould the plastic in any shape.
7. Leave for 7 days.
That's it.

The School Production

Finally our school production came its called kea kaha kiwi. The production is about kiwis and predators. I was a dog and you can see me in the photo.
My favourite thing about it would be the entire thing it was amazing.

Making Tangrams

The most hard thing was you had to rotate the shape and you cant make it larger. The fun thing was figuring out where the shapes go. We did this with the cyber smart lady named Dona.

The Savannah Island

The biggest challenge was making sure you had the right punctuation.
We were learning to make storyboard comics.

2D to 3D

We are learning how to make 3D shape by creating our own 2D nets.
We made net by using the wooden 3D blocks.
Most challenging thing was trying to do the cylinder  with one piece of paper,
The fun thing was seeing how many things you could make.     
We had to make sure there were enough faces.
